This genuine 26,000 mile car was one of the last 50 E types ever produced. As it is of considerable historic importance, our goal is to retain as much originality as possible. Therefore, we are keeping upgrades to a mimimum and are focusing on replacing a few key items where reliability is essential.
The car is being repainted but we will keep the factory finish on the engine frames, bulkhead, inside the car and boot area.
The hood is original and in good condition as is the entire interior of the car. These original features will be thoroughly cleaned and retained.
Having surveyed its condition, we have decided it is necessary to fully rebuild the engine and to rigorously clean all ancillaries. We have fitted a new electronic ignition, which is house in the original components - thus keeping the correct appearance. We have also fitted an electronic fuel pump and new Otter switch.
